James Brown Sex Machine - Dance and Sax by Joey D. - EPAC's Got Talent 2009 Winner
This video includes me playing saxophone and dancing, James Brown's Sex Machine at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center's Got Talent - Talent Show (Ephrata, PA). This was the song that I played to win the competition! I played this same song on America's Got Talent, in front of the live judges, David Hasselhoff, Piers Morgan, and Sharon Osbourne but it never made it on air. Also, I think that it is very possible that the key of a song changes most, or every time, a CD is burned. During both this and my AGT performance, the key changed when I tried to perform it. It is one thing for a singer to adjust to a key change, but when you are playing an instrument and have specific notes in mind to play, it is not easy to adjust immediately. During this performance you may be able to tell that I was "fishing" for the right notes, because I realized that the key was different. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to pull it off, however, I just kept jamming and got through it.
